Kali Hughey

Kali Hughey’s life journey is a testament to her dedication to both family and community, as well as her passion for personal growth and professional development. Born in Enid, Oklahoma, Kali’s heart has always belonged to Perry, where she was raised, and her story unfolds.

Kali graduated from Perry High School and continued her college studies at Northern Oklahoma College, earning her associate degree in general business.

With an innate love for caring for others, Kali decided to further her education and attended Meridian Technology Center in pursuit of a degree in nursing. In 2007, she graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse, dedicating years to the fulfillment and joy of helping other people in need.

However, her path eventually led her to seek a change that would allow her to be more present for her two children, now aged 10 and 13. In 2018, she began a new chapter in her career as the Administrative Assistant at the Perry Chamber. In 2020, she expanded her role to become the Communications and Events Coordinator, further enhancing her contribution to the chamber.

In June of 2022, she accepted the position of President and CEO of the Perry Chamber, a testament to her unwavering commitment to her community. Kali is excited about the prospect of being at the helm of her hometown’s growth and success. Her vision for Perry extends to economic development and tourism, recognizing that these endeavors can bring prosperity and possibilities to her community and introduce others to the charm and opportunities Perry has to offer.

Kali enjoys watching her children at various sporting events throughout the year, and you will most likely find her at a ballfield or basketball gym when she is not in the office. She and her husband, Kyle, are always up for an adventure. Whether it’s catching a St. Louis Cardinals game or uncovering hidden food havens tucked away, they are all in for the thrill of travel and the joy of discovering, off-the-beaten-path treats!
